You might have seen this post offering an up-close-and-personal look at the upcoming Umbrella Academy: Dallas Limited-Edition HC. On a whim, Josh and I decided to make it a contest, offering viewers (on our site and on YouTube) to post on our blog, telling us who their favorite TUA characters are, and why! Up for grabs: individual figures for the Umbrella Academy PVC Figure Set, and an Umbrella Academy Book and Figure Set signed by Gerard Way!

Well, the response was completely overwhelming–we had more than 100 passionate, well-thought-out responses. But we agonized over all of your comments and chose the following winners:

We did have one mishap–our original grand prize winner did not respond to our email, which means we did not get her mailing address in time, so we were forced to pick another winner! Keep in mind–if you enter one of our contests, especially if you are not already a customer, we won’t be able to mail you your prize without a mailing address!

Fortunately, we were able to get in touch with our original winner later, and sent Aubrey in Beacon, NY a copy of Umbrella Academy: Apocalypse Suite #1, with the special cover by Gerard Way, signed by Gerard Way!

Every month, we choose a few outstanding product reviewers and send them free stuff as part of the Product Review Contest.

Michael from Deville, LA writes product reviews for pretty much everything he orders from us, and we think that deserves extra consideration, so we’re sending him Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire Ltd. Ed. HC. So if you’re into Star Wars comics and graphic novels, be sure to check out his reviews. Ryan from Stanhope, NJ has written some particularly helpful reviews for a few Trigun TPBs in the past few months, so we’re shipping him some Trigun Toys to fill out his collection.

Finally, Karen from Mohnton, PA wrote wrote an Umbrella Academy review that caught our eye, so we’re sending her a copy of Umbrella Academy: Apocalypse Suite TPB. Sure, she already has a copy, like any UA fan, but she doesn’t have a copy signed by Gerard Way…well, not until she gets her next shipment from us at least!
